Doxford International is a prestigious 50 hectare site located at the A19 / A690 interchange, on the outskirts of Sunderland.

A unique partnership between Sunderland City Council and Goodman Property. has seen the creation of 125,000 sq.m. of high specification offices on the site.

The availability of leading-edge telecommunications has been instrumental in the success of Doxford International, which is one of the region's key locations for corporate HQs and financial and customer services.

Around 8,000 people are now employed by world-class companies such as Barclays, T-Mobile and Nike.

Sunderland Enterprise Park

Located on the north bank of the River Wear, this 30 hectare site is accessed via the A19 / A1231 interchange.

A total of 87,500 sq.m. of high specification offices and advanced manufacturing facilities has been provided.

Businesses located on the site include Lloyds TSB, Fusion Outsourcing and Berghaus.

It is also home to the North East Business & Innovation Centre (BIC), which offers modern workspace from 10 sq.m. to 650 sq.m., combined with targeted business support.

Rainton Bridge South Business Park

Rainton Bridge South is a new business park beside the A690 dual-carriageway at Houghton-le-Spring, close to the A1M and A19.

The 22 hectare site is located next to an established industrial estate which is home to world-class automotive components suppliers TRW Systems and Trade UK Ltd.

Rainton Bridge South will eventually attract investment totalling £100 million and generate more than 4,000 jobs, with 80,000 sq.m. of offices.

The site is equipped with the highest standard of broadband connectivity in order to attract the next generation of businesses.

Washington

With excellent links to the national motorway network, Washington continues to be one of the region's most popular business locations.

Its location between the main centres of Tyneside and Wearside provides access to a large workforce and a growing market for goods and services.

Nissan chose Washington for its UK manufacturing plant, and the company has continued to invest heavily in the site since the first car rolled off the production line in 1986.

Today the area is home to a cluster of key automotive suppliers, taking advantage of a highly efficient transportation system.

Washington offers a wide selection of sites and premises, with a strong track-record in providing accommodation for manufacturing and distribution activities.
